Weekend Programs
Weekend Childcare
At the Thornhill Woods Daycare we understand the needs of working parents and offer full-day and part-time childcare on Saturdays and Sundays from 8am - 5pm. Your child will participate in fun and innovative indoor and outdoor activities throughout the day. Children ages 3 and up will participate in the daily weekend programs running at the center.
Ages 0 and up $50.00 per day; $90.00 per weekend or $10.00 per hour
In the Kitchen
Let's have some fun in the kitchen. This exciting 1 ½ hour program offers young children the chance to prepare a variety of different foods and desserts each week. From cakes and gingerbread houses to pizza and bread, your child will surely be the new chef at home!!!
Ages 3 and up
Art Time!
Let's explore your child's creative side in this exciting 1 ½ hour program. Each week your child will enjoy constructing different crafts and artwork. Projects will include painting, making collages, sponging, creating clay objects, dough art, decorating/building clay pots and much much more!
Ages 2 ½ and up.
Mad About Science
This exciting program introduces your child to the wonders of science through fun hands-on experiments as we explore various themes each week. Ordinary materials can be used in extraordinary ways, and that's exactly what we will do in this program. From blowing up volcanoes, making silly puddy, playing with magnets and exploring optical illusions, your child will truly be Mad About Science.
Come Sing with Me
Parents and children express themselves through group songs, marching, rhythmic activities and movement while using a wide variety of musical instruments. Please Note: Parents participate.
Age: 2 - 5 years
Come Sing with Me: Junior
Babies will experience an hour of music through songs, instruments, rhymes, finger plays and parachute play. Sensory materials and toys enhance baby's development.
Please Note: Parents participate.
Ages 4 months - 18 months
Playing Together
Each class is filled with circle time, toys, crafts and a theme day encouraging creativity for stimulating the preschooler. Socialize with others and spend quality time with your child.
