In the tradition of great workshops for all levels of improvisers the Bad Dog offers top-notch classes to young people aged 8 through 17!
Participants in the Youth Improv Series will learn the fundamentals of storytelling, create their own characters on stage and gain the confidence to show off their new-found skills. There will be a showcase at the end of each session where participants will perform on the Bad Dog Mainstage to an adoring audience.
All Classes take place at the Bad Dog Theatre at 138 Danforth Avenue - steps from Broadview Station.
TEEN FOUNDATION SERIES (14-18)
The Bad Dog Theatre's Teen Foundation Series combines strong teamwork and an individualized learning structure. Students with previous improv experience and those who are trying it for the first time will learn from each other while honing their improv skills. The instructors work to ensure that each student is on a path that will be fun, challenging, and rewarding.
YOUTH FOUNDATION SERIES (11 to 13)
Improvising is a great way to find a hidden talent, release creative energy, and build self-confidence. It’s also a great way to meet some arts-minded peers and have fun!

KIDS FOUNDATION SERIES (Ages 8 to 10)
Improvising is a great way to find a hidden talent, release creative energy, and build self-confidence. For all of those 'performers' in your family - it's a great way to learn performance skills, cooperation, and quick thinking - and have tonnes of fun!
Participants in the Kids Improv Series will learn the joys of storytelling, create their own characters on stage and gain the confidence to show off their new-found skills. There will be a student showcase at the end of each session.
